Albion Cycles cannot be responsible for road closures or detours.

No refunds will be issued for unforeseen traffic-related incidents.

• Required Documents & Conditions for Equipment Pick-up :

When collecting your equipment (excluding the deposit, which must be completed online beforehand), customers must present :
✅ A physical bank card (Visa or MasterCard, in good condition, undamaged).
✅ A valid ID (in their name, in good condition).
✅ Their signature on the rental contract.

⚠️ If any of these three elements (credit card, ID, signed contract) are missing, the equipment will not be issued.
The booking amount will still be charged, but no money will be debited or held on the card.

Once the equipment is returned and checked, the deposit will be automatically released.

🚫 Other forms of deposit (MAESTRO, check, cash, etc.) are not accepted.

• Online Deposit :

If available, customers can complete their deposit online via an email received before pick-up.

A confirmation email will be sent once the deposit is validated.
📌 Even if the deposit is made online, a valid ID will still be required upon pick-up.

⚠️ Deposit Release Timeframe
For online deposits, the payment platform may hold the amount on the credit card for up to 7 days after the equipment is returned.

Albion Cycles cannot be held responsible for any delays in releasing the amount.

• Additional Information :

• The utilisation of the e-bikes will be explained to the customer upon delivery. Albion Cycles cannot be held responsible for lack of autonomy or other problem of utilisation.

• If equipment is picked up or returned outside of opening hours, a penalty of €45 per 30-minute period will be applied (with any period started being due).

• A parking area is available upon arrival—please respect the designated spaces

• We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, but last-minute bookings are possible until 7:00 PM the day before (no reservations by phone).

• For special requests (delivery, questions, etc.), please email us at contact@albioncycles.com before booking.

• Equipment can be picked up or returned at any time during store hours, but no refunds will be issued for early returns.

• Rental Period 🕖 :
  Rental periods are calculated starting from the first rental day refers to the date selected at the time of booking, with equipment pick-up scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in Sault and 9:30a.m. In Montbrun.

• For the shop in Sault (84390) :

• Half-day morning rentals : 8:30am to 1pm.

• Half-day afternoon rentals : 2pm to 6:30pm.

• Daytime rentals : 8:30am to 6:30pm.

• Multi-day rentals: 8:30 a.m. on the first day to 6:30 p.m. on the last day.

• For the shop in Montbrun (26570) :

• Half-day morning rentals: 9:30am to 12:30pm.

• Half-day afternoon rentals : 3pm to 6pm.

• Daytime rentals : 9:30am to 6pm.

• Multi-day rentals: 9:30 am on the first day to 6 pm on the last day.

Half-day rentals cannot be combined.

• Cancellation conditions :

All requests for modifications or cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to gestion@albioncycles.com .

• BEFORE TAKING THE EQUIPMENT  :


In accordance with L221-28 du Code de la consommation (French law), the right of withdrawal does not apply to tourist services.

• CANCELLATION WITHOUT Contracting the Cancellation Guarantee (Except for Medical or Weather Reasons) :

The customer must notify Albion Cycles of their intent to cancel the reservation as soon as possible by email at gestion@albioncycles.com.

In this case, the amount paid at the time of booking will be fully retained by Albion Cycles, and no refund will be possible.

• CANCELLATION WITH Contracting the Cancellation Guarantee (Except for Medical or Weather Reasons) :

The customer must notify Albion Cycles of their intent to cancel the reservation as soon as possible by email at gestion@albioncycles.com.

• More than 48 hours before pick-up: The refund will be equal to the total amount of the reservation (including equipment and options), minus the cancellation guarantee and booking fees.

• Between 20 and 48 hours before pick-up: The refund will be equal to the total amount of the reservation, minus the cost of the first day's rental, the booking fee, and the cancellation guarantee.

• Less than 20 hours before pick-up: No refunds will be possible.

• CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS :

In the event of adverse weather conditions observed by Albion Cycles staff on the day of rental, the customer may :

• Reschedule the reservation, subject to availability.

• Request a refund of the reservation amount, excluding booking fees.


All modification or refund requests must be submitted in writing to the store via email at gestion@albioncycles.com.

Please note that only the staff present in the store on the day of rental are authorized to assess weather conditions.

The refund amount will be equal to the total reservation cost (including equipment and options), minus the booking fee.

• CANCELLATION FOR MEDICAL REASONS

If a medical prescription prohibits physical activity during the rental period, the customer may request a refund upon presentation of valid proof.

Only the person named in the medical prescription will be eligible for a refund.

Cancellation requests must be submitted within 7 days of the medical incident.

The refund amount will be equal to the total reservation cost (including equipment and options), minus the booking fee.

• CANCELLATION DUE TO A BAD ATTITUDE :


If any unpleasant, offensive, or inappropriate behavior by the customer is observed at the time of booking, equipment handover, or during the rental period, Albion Cycles reserves the right to cancel the reservation, refuse to provide the equipment, or retrieve it during the rental period. In such cases, the customer will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.

Additionally, if the customer uses or intends to use the equipment irresponsibly or outside the established norms, Albion Cycles reserves the right to cancel the reservation, deny equipment handover, or recover the equipment during the rental period, with no possibility of reimbursement or compensation.

• CANCELLATION FROM ALBION CYCLES :


If necessary, Albion Cycles can cancel all or part of the reservation if necessary, without justification.

In such cases, the customer will be notified as soon as possible and fully refunded for the canceled equipment within 48 hours.

• AFTER THE COLLECTION OF EQUIPMENT :


In the event of illness or an accident occurring during the rental period that formally prevents the use of the bicycle, the rental conditions remain in effect.

Only the equipment rented by the affected person may be returned.

A pro-rata refund will be issued based on the number of rental days actually used, upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.

Any early return for reasons other than medical will not result in any refund or compensation.

EXCHANGE :


The customer has the option of changing the equipment booked, subject to availability, when picking up the equipment.

If the price of the reserved material is lower than the price of the requested material, the difference (requested material price - reserved material price = difference) will be invoiced in addition.

If the price of the equipment reserved is higher than the price of the equipment required, the price of the equipment reserved will remain invoiced and will not be reimbursed.

In all cases, if the store is unable to offer the customer equipment other than that reserved, no refund or discount will be made.
